Zagreb Church: Epic & Mosaic 21

Zagreb church initiatives includes a community center with an Evangelical church at the core, built for children, youth and families in New Zagreb. Social Capital, Small Business Development, Recreation, and Social Services are just some of what the center is capable of facilitating.

In July, Mihal and many members of the church congregation led a public school initiative on reconciliation for the Croatian and Serbian youth who had been involved in violence or theft. More than 200 students attended this faith based program designed to build bridges between the two cultures. Other summer outreach programs and fall kick-off events were highlights of the year. Mosaic 21 has worked on building community support and corporate partnerships to raise funds for the purchase of land and a building to serve as a multi-purpose community center. A temporary structure is currently being shipped via container from Hawaii.
