Ms. Amy Hedstrand

Amy Hedstrand’s responsibilities at Children’s Vision and Beginning of Wisdom School include teaching English and being in charge of the bilingual program at the school. The beautiful new school building was opened in February, 2009. Approximately 90 children who attend Beginning of Wisdom School live under the full care of Children’s Vision. These children come from circumstances of extreme poverty, abuse, neglect and other difficult situations. Approximately 50 more children attend the school from the community. These children live with family members, but are also children of poverty. The organization’s focus is Christ and the difference he can make in the lives of these children.
